You can only cast spells that are beneficial to your units and/or resurrect from reserves. The pdf version of the rules has the list of reserve spells on page 14. The pocket-sized version available in starters lists it on page 30.
Quote:

Elemental (all colors based on unit): Promote Dragonkin, Rise of the Eldarim

If you'd like you can redo your spells.

Also I did have a transmute rock to mud on your army, decreasing your manuevers by 6. You still save from the damage though, due to how SAIs work

Results generated by SAIs (whether they are normal results or special results) cannot be modified by spells, other SAIs, or dragon breath. When an SAI is resolved during the turn sequence depends on the SAI’s Resolution Type. If two or more SAIs of the same resolution type are generated during a player’s roll, they may be resolved in any order the player chooses.

Therefore in this case you would lose the two normal manuevers but you rolled 5 fly which cannot be affected by spells. That then doubles and you get 10 saves.

Right on, sorry. I knew I had seen that list somewhere, but couldn't find it.

Shoot sorry for not really posting this weekend. Had several little things going on that kept me from any computer for extended periods.
Also don't forget that you had a temple, which allows me to pick one unit in my DUA per turn to bury. I only had the one defender dead so he gets buried during your initial effects.
