My Coral Elf collection can now be considered complete (for now, save for the new monster to come in the new kickers later on), since just in time for Christmas, I got a parcel that my husband and I had won off of ebay.

Which included every Coral Elf I could ever want. *hugs them* In addition to the ones I already have, I now feel secure playing whatever I want to with Corals!

Woo!

Also, it included all the Amazons my husband could want and a bunch of other really useful things that we are going to have a lot of fun experimenting with amongst our friends. Very Happy[/img]

Three out of those I believe were. I already had two of my own since all of my Coral Elves were from back in the TSR days, and I believe according to this auction these were all from then too. Very Happy I adore the mercenary bowman, personally, just because they're different!

Nice pickup! Now are you going to collect all the variations/prints (TSR, SFR)?

I'm tempted to collect all of the reprints as well. Just because well, I'll have to buy the new kickers to get the new monster aaanyway. Wink But we'll see! Coral Elves were my first favorite race way, way back when I originally started. I like their colors, I always enjoy elves, and I'm a very missile happy player no matter what game I decide to do. So I was super excited about this pickup!

We also got a whole bunch of blue Eldarim and dragonkin so I'll get to possibly experiment with those as well Very Happy

Just wait a bit and leviathans will be everywhere for trade. Looks like you have all you need and nobody will think youre any cooler for collecting unnecessary coral elves, at least I wont, and neither will you Wink .

You have a point there Wink

And I had no idea how many dice that much dice really WAS until I started sorting and cataloging. <<.>> I have about 400 more dice to go through. I may have to take a break and call it a day.

My organizational ocd is a bit too active when it comes to games like this. Not only am I sorting them into compartment trays that I picked up at the craft store nearby (they're intended for jewelry but they're perfect for dice!) . . . and some of them into ziplock bags that I don't have room for . . . I'm updating an excel spreadsheet with my current totals of everything.

I also use a pretty similar sorting method, between baggies and jewelry boxes. Helps that I have a not so secret love affair with spreadsheets. Personally I have yet to figure out a way to play coral elves that really works for me so I haven't really tried collecting a bunch of them Smile

Yeah, I've noticed from browsing some threads that it's either jewelry box like things or the tackle boxes. I picked these up at Michael's for 2.99 last week, they're meant for jewlery making supplies and sorting but they each have 20 sections which is perfect for an entire race. Three of the sections are a bit small, but I make it work. Wink

There are also the azurite coral elves...
which is a plastic varriant of a common run.
I knicked named these azurite as they look brilliant in dark blue and green...
just like the azurite gemstone.
Also called stone of heaven.
I provides healing properties according to the story.
