My Turn:

• Initial Effects Phase: (I think I've been forgetting to recruit/promote units due to the 8th face) We'll promote the Lich to Minor Death here

My Dragon: Treasure

My thoughts again naturally turn to a sequential rather than simultaneous resolution since there are two treasures.
Resolve Treasure #1: So I'm 99% sure that I get to promote the Heucava to the Lich.
resolve Treasure #2: It then seems to me that I get to do a second and separate promotion for what I will declare to be the Zombie to Heucava.

A quick glance at the rulebook doesn't give me any reason to think that the promotions are necessarily simultaneous, so you get to use both. Also, you taught me something new because I thought Undead would resist on Id as well.

I agree on saves for you against my Counter Attack.

I think you're finishing your turn with Reserve/Reinforce...

Then a couple Treasures for Dragon rolls from you would be nice.

My understanding is that the Wayfare takes place before resolving anything else from the Dragon. I will send the Minor Death with the Medallion to your Home (My Horde).

Lich, Zombie #1 & #2 finally Succumb to the Dragons and go to the DUA.
Frontier Terrain slides to 7. Now I sent the Minor Death with the Medallion with the thought that the 18 damage would kill everyone off, but is it possible that:

Minor Death 4 damage would be sent to DUA and stepped to the Mummy
Lich 3 damage would be sent to DUA and stepped to Wight
If those are the case, then knowing how much damage was coming, I'd promote my existing Zombie (during initial effects) to a Wight instead of grabbing a fresh corpse, thus resulting in the Wight taking 2 damage, but stepped down to a Zombie.

Thus making me freshly decide whether to Wayfare the Medallion.

Internet stopped working as I wrote a reply yesterday, here's what I wrote:

I had to look it up and found an interesting quote in the rulebook:
'Exchanging Units from the DUA', p. 28 wrote:
Even if all the units in the army are exchanged, at no time is the entire army gone.


Now I don't believe the damage 'laps around' after the stepped damage, so you could even send over the Minor Death and still keep your 8th by swapping out the Lich for a Heceuva.
