Ya'll seem pretty hardcore but if you hold my hand to get me started I would like a game. I haven.t played with the most recent rules but I am adaptable. If nothing else you can view me as fresh blood.

I'm also a beginner, although I've had the dice for a long time, just no one to play with.
I have played a few games on here (just finished one a few minutes ago), and still working on learning the rules, or remember the rules.

How many points do you want to use? 36 seems standard.

I can run the board.

The time difference might make the game take a while to play.... speaking of time, it is 2:30 in the morning.. gotta go to bed. I'll check on here in the morning before I leave.

You should get the DD inventory program if you don't have it yet. It is very handy and will help you organize your collection,
as well as
construct armies, run the online game board, and various other nifty features.
Useful for seeing all the dice faces without having to dig through the box of dice too

I put together a 36pt Dwarf army. If you are still up for a game I'm ready.

Can you make your army smaller? That list you sent me is 44 pts.
If you want to do 44pt. that is fine, I can make my army bigger I suppose.
I think 36pt. might go a little faster though.

Also let me know where you want to place your armies. I just placed them randomly.

First march: My army at my home terrain will maneuver
Maneuver result:
Flying carpet - maneuver icon = 4
Mammoth rider - ID = 3
highland terrain dwarves get double maneuvers
Total = 14

You can oppose my maneuver by rolling your army at my home terrain.
or
you can not oppose and I will move the terrain up or down one.

while you roll for maneuvers I will begin my second march

Second March: Army at the frontier will maneuver
Maneuver result:
Crack-shot- ID = 3
Crack-shot#2 - ID = 3
Crossbowman -ID = 1
Total = 7

Pretty sure you can't out maneuver that with one unit, so I will maneuver the terrain up to 3

Then I will take a missile action aimed at your army at your home terrain
Missile result:
Crack-shot- ID = 3
Crossbowman - 1 missile =1
Crossbowman#2 - 1 missile = 1
Total = 4 normal missile
+
Crack-shot#2 - 4 bullseye = I choose the Elder Dryad and one Hamadryad that must save individually or be killed

Bullseye: Special (missile action); Normal (dragon attack or missile avoidance)
During a missile action, each Bullseye result immediately inflicts one point of damage. The total damage may individually target one or more units in the defending army as the acting player chooses. Each target unit must immediately generate saves against the damage assigned to it. During a dragon attack or missile avoidance roll, Bullseye generates missile results.

Ok, can you post on here? It will be easier to follow.

I'm still not quite finished with my turn.

First march continued (still haven't taken my action):
So I maneuver the terrain down to 2 at my home terrain.

I will take a magic action with that army;
magic result:
Wizard - 4 magic =4
Thaumaturgist - ID so x2 at highland (same colors) =4
Theurgist #1- ID x2 = 2
Theurgist #2- 1 magic = 1
Theurgist #3- 1 magic = 1
Theurgist #4- 1magic = 1
Total =13

I will cast Summon Dragon cost 7 (red Drake) to your home terrain.
With the remaining 6 I will cast Ashstorm cost 2 x3 (-3 result at target terrain) on your home terrain.

Last I will move my unit at your home terrain to the reserves.

Also did you roll for saves against the remaining damage?
The Elder Dryad and Hamadryad are dead, but there is still 4 damage to save against.

Dragon Roll:
Claw = 6 points of damage.

Do you know how dragon attacks work? You roll your army and with one roll add up all the saves, to block the damage, and at the same time add up all the melee/missile. You can't combine the missile and melee though. If you get 10 missile or melee you kill the dragon. If not he sits there.
Hope that makes sense.

First roll for saves/attack (combo roll) against the Dragon's 6 points of damage at your home terrain.
then
I moved my unit from your home terrain, so you can maneuver it up or down. I assume up.

At my home terrain I oppose the maneuver:
Maneuver result:
Mammoth Rider - 3 trample = 3
Flying carpet elevate = 4
Dwarves doulbe maneuvers at highlands
so the Mammoth Rider doubles
Total = 10

You are the active army, so I fail.
Do you turn the terrain up or down?
