This is a first game and will have some stumbles, but everyone starts somewhere.

Cliff will run the board.
This will be similar to the Sealed Single event we have at Gencon except the races are predefined.

The online product simulator will be used to pick the random dice in two starter packs and the 4 terrains and the two dragons.

I will have to post those publicly, but to simulate a real setup as that you try to only look at your dice until after we have posted our initial setups. i.e. keep hidden what would be hidden in a real game.

We don't have a spoiler tag in this version of BBCode, so here is the next best thing. White text on a white background. you can select the text to read it or reply or whatever.

I cut n pasted your dice w/o really reading them, so no worries there.

well actually... since we are playing 30 health it is only 15 health at most at the beginning. Your home army has 16. So at least one health needs to move out.

If this looks right to you, then take your horde roll and post either the total maneuvers or faces or images or whatever you feel comfortable with.

A note on timing...

In a real game there are times you would stop and wait for the opponent to make a decision or a roll.

In these online games sometimes you can skip ahead and do a Choose your own Adventure style roll or just leave some items hanging behind. I only recommend doing this if you are sure you made no errors. it is ugly having to backup and reroll something you loved getting.

So Cliff's turn.

No Initial Effects.
First March:

At the your home.

Maneuver attempt: (assuming you will counter)
My roll is: 7 (again)
Necromancer - 3 ID
Scorpion Knight - 1 Melee
Scorpion Knight - 1 Melee
Warlock - 2 Magic

ok, then the terrain turns down to 3 - Magic.

now the decision... some people swear by dragons and some people hate them...

But we are playing 30 health, so... "I'ma Risk it"

Summon Dragon twice for 14 Red to send both red dragons to my home.

Fearful Flames for 3 red on a pony rider at your home.
So roll it against 1 damage. If it saves, then roll again or it flees to reserves.

Second March - at the frontier
Maneuver attempt (assuming counter)
Fusilier - 1 ID

The best you can do is tie, so I win the maneuver no matter what.

Turn the terrain up to 7.
ATTACK!

Fusilier - 1 ID

So you save against 1 and decide if you want to counter attack. (no reason not to, so assuming you will)
My save roll would be:
Fusilier - 1 ID

ok, I want to take a moment... the odds of doing that are 1 in 216. This would be a great moment to decide you trust me, but I've seen way more random things like a Troll rolling his ID 4 times in a row (1 in 10,000) or 6 Dragon Slayers all rolling Sneak Attack at once (1 in 46,656)

End of second march.

Reserves, retreat all units from my home to the reserves.

EOT.

I moved ahead a lot there, so to summarize...
1)Resolve Fearful Flames against a pony Rider
2)Counter Maneuver - thought you can only tie at best
3)Save against 1 melee Damage at the Frontier
4) If he survives in #3, Counter Attack at the Frontier (but you can't kill him)

I'll post a board update as the end of my turn with those items pending in just a moment.

The first thing that happens on your turn is the dragon attack. I'll go ahead and roll my dragon and you can roll yours and then start taking your turn.

Counter maneuver fail as expected at frontier.

Cliff's Dragon - I save against the 6 Damage to my army - No Killed Units
I attack the Dragon with 6 Melee inflicting only 1 damage due to 5 Auto Saves.

I think i got this right not sure.
