ok, I haven't looked at yours yet, but this was the idea I had late last night. I hope it isn't too gimmicky.


Home: highland standing stones
3 behemoths
2 mammoth rider

Frontier: highland standing stones
4 fire shadows
1 pony rider

12 maneuvers, so I got it. Turn the terrain up into melee on the 5th face.

Melee attack!

that's not too bad.

Kill 4 immediately for Smite
Then roll to save against 4 melee damage.

ok, my maneuver roll is:
Behemoth - 4 Trample
Behemoth - 4 Charge
Behemoth - 4 Charge
Mammoth Rider - 3 ID
Mammoth Rider - 3 Melee

7 from the ID and Trample, which double because of the racial ability to 14.

So I win; instead of changing the terrain I will bring in a minor terrain, which I roll immediately:
Highland Village - 1 Melee

I now have the option to take either a magic or a melee attack (you can't use my minor terrain, so you just do magic)

I will attack in melee:

Behemoth - 4 ID
Behemoth - 4 Maneuver
Behemoth - 4 Save
Mammoth Rider - 4 Melee
Mammoth Rider - 3 Trample

oh, no Charge. I'm sad.

You save against 11 damage

then decide if you want to attack back or not.

Yes you may. each player can have one minor terrain per major terrain at a time.

I must roll it at the start of any march I use in that army.
if it gets a disaster face it is banished.
if I leave the terrain it gets banished.

I can't choose to voluntarily remove or replace it.
