I was wondering something about Stepped Damage. It says that when killed, an Undead unit can be traded in for a unit of one health less (a 3-health becomes a 2-health, for example).
One thing I am curious about is this. Do the units have to be from the same category? By this I mean if a light magic unit (for example) is killed does it have to be traded for a lower-health light magic unit? Or is any lower-health type fair game? |

Quote: | Stepped Damage: When an Undead unit is killed it may instead be exchanged for a unit of lesser health from the Dead Unit Area. | Not sure which rules you are reading, the most current is above. Note that it says lesser health, not one health. Since the rule does not say anything else except that it's an Undead of lesser health, type does not matter. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I put "one health less" because I assumed that is what most people would go for (when possible obviously). So, my apologies for using the wrong term on that part.
As for the other part (staying within type of unit), that was just a curiosity of mine. In other words, I did not read that in a rules set. Considering it was not mentioned in the rules, I asked merely to satisfy my curiosity (or in case someone asked about it in a game sometime). |

Any undead of lower health will do. You might kill a rare and only have commons in your DUA. You at least get to trade your rare for one of those. _________________ Shoe |
