Okay all you legions of "Once Upon A Forum" fans. Are you getting a little tired of the "Great Pelter Debacle"? Want the story to go somewhere (anywhere!) else? Cast your vote and let us know!

Oh, I forgot to put this up on the main announcement topic. We just got word that the plastic used to make the Pelters has serious problems. When you hit them with a 5-lb hammer, they break. Since the dice were designed to take up to a 10-lb hit without breaking, I'm sorry to say I'll have to recall all Pelters. Please don't ignore this thinking it doesn't mean my Pelters, it affects all of them. Also any testing of this should be done under strict parental supervision.

Good, that makes pelters more fragile, meaning they are more valuable. Everybody send me your pelters, so you won't break them. Also, I noticed that another person voted "No. I have mental problems and think pelters are the coolest" in addition to me.

Robert,
You and your Canadian Pelters do have issues, but I have to say that I am impressed with the way those little buggers can kick @$$ when they want to!

Lets put it this way:

I really love Robert's pelter posts and he sure is good for some laughs (mean it in a polite way!), but when reading the "Chguck Tales" I would REALLY prefer "undisturbed" reading.
The difference in the authors is clearly noticeable and as we say in German:
Too many cooks spoil the soup!

How 'bout this:

Besides the highly professional (and totally hilarious) "Unce upon a forum", posted by Steve and Joe only(!), we could create a thread where everybody can post the follow up of a story!
Sort of "chain post" where everybody who feels destined to become an author can make the next installment.
HOWZAT?

Also: even though I love to applaude when reading, any feedback should be posted in another thread. Any "well done" posts disturb the story as well, no matter of how well deserved they might be!
Create a "SPOON" thread, where we all can comment on the latest installments! (or should they rather be called "latest nervous breakdowns", LOL)

I think "Once upon a forum" should be left to the pros!!! Rolling Eyes

YOU GUYS ROCK, Steve and Joe!!!
